Take a part (max 1 page) of what you’ve written so far and do the following:
- Mark all single arguments/trains of thought.
- Make sure everyone is in its own paragraph. Then make a heading for each paragraph.
- Now check the headings: do they make sense? Are there gaps? Is this the best ordering? Reshuffle, add or take away as needed.
- Afterwards, make sure the headings actually match the text: does the text really encapsulate and describe the heading well?
- If they do, you can remove them again and now have a logically structured text.
