Girls' Day - Girls' Future Day is a nationwide project for career and study orientation for girls. On this annual day of action, schoolgirls learn about professions or fields of study in which the proportion of women is less than 40 percent.
On April 25, 2024, between 09:00 - 15:00, the girls were given the opportunity to see the world of a scientist from different points of view. A total of 14 girls were our guests. Among other things, they were introduced to the world of chatbots, learned how computers can process images and recognize objects, and found out how artificial intelligence is used in games. The researchers also gave insights into their everyday lives and answered many questions about the application and functioning of artificial intelligence.
We had a lot of fun and are already looking forward to next year. The next Girls' Day will take place on April 3, 2025.
