Wei-Fan Chen, a former member of the NLP Group, successfully defended his PhD thesis "Computational Analysis and Mitigation of Textual Media Bias" on January 26, 2024 at Paderborn University.
He fully convinced his promotion committee consisting of Jun.-Prof. Dr. Sebastian Peitz, Prof. Dr. Stefan Sauer, Prof. Dr. Benno Stein, Prof. Dr. Henning Wachsmuth and Prof. Dr. Axel Ngonga Ngomo (from left to right, with Wei-Fan in the middle).
